The museum features a permanent collection of European and Greek art. There are five impressive works of El Greco. Other notables works of art from Rembrandt, Cezanne, and Van Dyck. Honorable mentions here include Caravaggio’s Singer, Eugene Delacroix’s Greek Warrior, and Picasso’s Women in a White Dress.
There are many fine displays of modern Greek works, depictions of the War of Independence and many examples from the very best Greek artists.
